The British East India Company entered India via Calcutta with the intension to secure exclusive trading rights in the Indian Ocean, breaking the Portuguese and Dutch monopolies! This trading company later ruled large part of India from 1757 to 1857 transforming itself from a trading body into a colonial administrative after battle of Plassey in 1757 fought between East India Company led by Lord Clive and last independent Nawab of Bengal Saraju-ud-Daulah!

East India Company won this battle due to the betrayal of Mir Jaffer who was commander of Nawab's army! Once the Nawab lost the battle of Plassey the rise of East India Company began and Company took over the full political and military control in Bengal and doors were opened for colonial rule in India.

The East India Company ruled India from 1757 to 1857 and after this British Crown rule began and they ruled in India from 1858 to 14.8.1947. The total duration of British rule was nearly 200 years (1757 to 14.8.1947).

During these two hundred years of British rule lakhs of Indians transported as labourers to other British Colonies across the globe against their wishes, this was FORCED transportation of labourers resulting lakhs of families separated from their loved ones, innocent people of India faced profound hardship and sufferings. Britishers exploited Indian economic! Indian subcontinent which was global economic hub collapsed and turned into one of the world's poorest nation! Indian industries were downgraded as machine made goods were promoted! Britishers literally looted India and left behind scars of their atrocities and destruction in each and every field!

We have not yet recovered from their shadow as India's judiciary and education system largely influenced by British colonial policies! Government is trying to decolonize these systems by introducing certain reforms in criminal laws and in national educational policy (NEP) let's see how impact full these reforms will be?

NO INDIAN HAD EVER OPTED FOR THIS 200 YEARS OF BRITISH RULE! The Britisher imposed system of FORCED LABOUR on Indians. Slavery in British India was abolished by the INDIAN SLAVERY ACT 1843 but even after the abolition of Slavery act there was hardly any improvement in the condition of Indians! After decades of sufferings, hardship India finally gained independence from British Rule on 15.8.47!!

Now let talk about current slavery that is SLAVERY OF OUR MIND, our minds have become slaves of Technology and we all are willingly and happily accepting and even encouraging ourselves to become slaves of technology!!

You all must have seen with your own eyes the role of ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE in the current war between Israel, America and Iran where humanity is being abused and resources are being destroyed! The whole world is in distress and we have no choice but to accept the consequences of this war, with the help of technology, people all over the world are successful in creating fake narratives about the war by posting fake videos, audios and pictures on social media and promoting misleading information!

Geoffrey Hinton who is known as God father of AI, left Google so that he can speak freely on dangers of AI like AI creating autonomous weapons, manipulating humanity, causing massive job losses and escaping control. Hinton has expressed regret over his own work stating he now fears that the digital intelligence being created could become uncontrollable!

There is an open war between ANTHROPOMORPHIC and OPEN AI both are fighting for their dominance in the field of AI! OPEN AI focuses on commercialisation whereas ANTHROPOMORPHIC operates as a safety first company!

As artificial intelligence becomes more common in our daily lives, its effect on education calls for both enthusiasm and caution! Some people believe that AI is great for opportunities for personalised learning but there are still worries about privacy, fairness and possibility of replacing traditional jobs!

Traditional education relies on human interaction with teachers, providing not only academic instruction/training but also emotional support and mentorship! AI can not provide or offer the empathy, understanding and personal connection that only human educators can offer! Before proper implementation of AI in schools successfully, proper planning, training, good infrastructure and constant checking is must otherwise negative results may be found in educational institutions!

Apart from education, Technology can also be used to improve our health, judiciary, finance, transportation and logistics, agriculture, film industry and other sectors of society. Change in any aspect of life is always welcome provided that it can be used under certain checks and balances in order to achieve the best results!

Blindly trusting the technology particularly AI is risky because these systems are prone to errors, biases which can lead to misinformation! The rapid adoption of new technologies including data mining apps, excessive dependence on automated tools can diminish human abilities and reduce problem solving skills as ALPHABET CEO Mr. Sunder Pichai rightly said that technology should be used as a tool rather than a replacement for human judgment!

Please note that use of technology under checks and balances can be useful for humanity but blindly dependence on technology can be harmful!

Humans are god gifted with beautiful things which includes HUMAN MIND, the most powerful asset of human beings, use your brain to create a beautiful life the more you use your mind the better and successful your life will be!

Don't make your minds SLAVES of APPS, DIGITAL SEARCHES AND TECHNOLOGY! Cultivate the habits of MINDFULNESS AND MENTAL WELLNESS! To sharpen your mind/skills try to do creative things that will help all of us to grow in our life in a positive and meaningful way!!

Please remember Slavery is always painful and depressing! Slavery under British rule was the black chapter of Indian history but today we Indians are in a much better position, we are front runners in the world of technology but make sure OUR MINDS SHOULD NOT BECOME SLAVES OF TECHNOLOGY and accept the truth that Human mind is more powerful than the Technology!!
