As per the Sanathanis' scriptures, there are around 14~ Lokas: 7 above and 7 below (Adhloka), and a soul gets human birth only after wandering in 8,400,000 bodies.
Now, you can imagine how difficult it is to get a life as a human being and once we get the human body OUR JOURNEY OF LIFE BEGINS. In this journey of life, some people make it to their destination and some people don't get enough opportunities to make it in life despite their hard work! The people who don't make it most certainly have regrets about their life which is understandable, but there are also people who have achieved maximum success in life but still they are missing something vital in their lives.
This broadly puts people into two categories:
- People those who have desired something in life but couldn't get the same!
- People who have achieved maximum success but still not happy, there is some void in their lives and usually, these are the people who are emotionally hurt by their families and friends!
So both categories are having some kind of KASAK in their lives which reminds them of their past.
-
KASAK of not being born in a wealthy family - this quite ache gives you the feeling that your potential was restricted by the circumstances of your birth, rather than the strength of your abilities/ambition!
-
KASAK of not being able to get admission in a prestigious school, college/institution - a door that seemed to dictate your career path, scholarship opportunities or dreams of studying abroad.
-
KASAK of not getting a job of your choice and frustration of working a job that drains your soul and makes you feel unvalued.
-
KASAK of not sharing your life with the person who truly understood you - this internal pain/conflict leads to a life that feels technically comfortable but emotionally hollow.
-
KASAK of abusive, turbulent or failed marriage, where the promise of companionship turned into a daily battle, ultimately leading to Separation or Divorce.
-
KASAK of having failed emotional relationships due to Betrayal causes immense pain, suffering and sorrow and it takes years to heal from this trauma.
-
KASAK of not being able to express your emotions/feelings openly and honestly when it mattered most - this silent regret due to lack of communication leads to a decision that costs heavily to you and your partner forever!
-
KASAK of not being able to experience the joy of raising a child, or not having a baby boy or girl!
-
KASAK of not meeting or interacting on regular basis with your loved ones who live abroad. Emptiness of seeing your loved ones only through a screen, missing the warmth of a hug makes you a bit sad.
-
KASAK of being sexually abused! Trauma of sexual abuse leaves a permanent stain on your self worth.
-
KASAK of not being given right treatment by the doctors to your loved ones - the haunting guilt of watching a loved one suffer because they didn't receive the right treatment inspite of spending lakhs on their treatment, wondering if you could have done more.
-
KASAK of losing your loved ones at a young age. Premature loss of a loved one is a tragedy that leaves an irreplaceable Void and turns the future into an endless cycle of grief and despair.
-
KASAK of losses in business/property. Property disputes within family and outside family make life difficult for the people who have been affected by the loss/disputes.
This never ending saga of Kasak makes the present very difficult for the people who are not ready to accept the truth about their past, instead they keep making excuses for their own mistakes, which only makes their present uncomfortable.
Everyone knows that it is not possible to regain the opportunities which we missed but we can always learn from our past experiences and try to improve ourselves and do things that will help us to achieve our goals! Now the question is how to get over this pain? Here I am going to suggest some tips which will help you to recover/reduce the lingering pain/discomfort.
-
Take your time to mourn the loss of your loved ones and accept the harsh truth that they are not with you anymore and sadly cannot come back again!
-
Share your grief, thoughts and feelings with your family and with your most trusted friends who can guide you in the right direction!
-
Explore the new opportunities. It is about stepping out of your comfort zone to find your new place to work, advancing your career or finding new ways to make your life more fulfilling.
-
Assess your potential/skills for your own growth. Don't shy away from unfamiliar tasks, they are often the best way to discover new ideas and hidden talents.
-
Try to spend more time with happy people who make you smile and if your health permits, consider travelling, explore the new surroundings!
-
If you are passionate about anything, try to revive your passion and if you are facing any problems in reviving your passion, take a help from someone you trust, who can show you the right path but always protect yourself from those who might exploit your passion.
-
Clear your grudges with your family and friends, if you want to say sorry to your near and dear ones, then say it OR, if you want to show your affection for someone then show it, don't wait for the right moment, every moment is a right moment!
-
Instead of lingering in the past, take firm action to make your life more comfortable and secured by releasing the heavy burden of the past. Use your energy wisely.
-
Accept missed opportunities won't give you any chance of winning the game again, therefore, avoid to repeat or replay the events in your mind over and over again!
-
Life is full of surprises and there are plenty of fresh opportunities right in front of you at all times, what you have to do just show some courage and confidence - "GO AND GRAB THE OPPORTUNITIES" and give one more chance to yourself to win the game which you lost in the past, there is no time limit or age limit for achieving your dreams and goals in life!
-
I know it's very difficult and hard to overpower KASAK, but somewhere down the line you have to stop the war of 'I COULD HAVE' and 'I WOULD HAVE'. Stop punishing yourself for the choices/decisions you made in the past and step forward into the PRESENT. This exact moment is where your power begins.
Just get up and see โ
"KITNI HASRAT SE TAKTI HAI KALIYA TUHME, KYUN BAHAARON KO PHIR SE BULAATE NAHI, KYUN BAHAARON KO PHIR SE BULAATE NAHI!"
The above stated steps, if added to your routine, can definitely reduce/control your pain, emotions, stress, or even anxiety levels and by doing so, one can give a meaning to his or her existence. The day you accept reality, no matter how harsh it is, your pain shall gradually diminish. All it takes is your willpower.
Stay strong :)
With love, Rita ๐ธ
