In the present atmosphere, I don't know how many of us know who is our next door neighbour! There was a time when everyone in the colony knew each other by name and whenever there was any occasion, happy or sad everyone stood together to help the respective families, may be this culture still exists in small towns and villages but it is now a different culture altogether in many places where people are not able to express themselves in any form of social interaction!

Whenever you are in crisis, your own family members may take some time to arrive but your neighbour is the one whom you can approach and can ask for help! Neighbour can be a great help in distress and in tense situations

People who are having good neighbours are the ones who are the luckiest people, if your neighbours are good, they can provide help like watching children in your absence, caring for plants and your pets and keeping an eye on your home! Neighbours provide a network of support and resources.

It's important to maintain a good and civil relationship with neighbours and to be respectful of each other's boundaries, feelings and privacy!

If you are having hostile and unfriendly stances towards your neighbours, this situation might create an atmosphere and environment of conflict and tension between you and your neighbour which is not at all good for both sides and can be avoided by engaging in constructive dialogue between the two parties.

Make sure whenever you have any issue small or big, always try to resolve through dialogue and communication instead of going for confrontation with your neighbour's, but, if, inspite of your good intentions and your good behaviour towards your neighbours, if they are not willing to pay any attention to your concerns then don't hesitate to take necessary action against them!

Just see the condition of our country, we are surrounded and hounded by our enemies from all directions inspite of providing all of them with all sorts of support, it's high time India must keep them all at bay!

Your rivalry with your neighbours can be resolved by creating cordial and constructive dialogue, but even then if some issues are not resolved or addressed and that issues are creating tension and frustration, then on this Diwali give your neighbour one more chance to resolve the issues so that peace and harmony can be restored and both sides live together again!!
